Spring Kokedama Workshop

Join us here at Leaf and learn how to create your very own Kokedama, a beautiful moss ball that houses a plant of your choice, indoor or outdoor!

The word Kokedama literally means ‘moss ball’, moss ‘koke' and ball 'dama', in Japanese. The idea originates from Japan where it is a combination of ‘nearai’ translating to ‘root wash’ but meaning ‘no pot’. Kokedama is very popular in Japanese gardens.

This workshop will include all the materials you will need, and our in-house experts will guide you through all the steps to create your very own Kokedama.

After this fun workshop we will be serving ramen bowls and drinks for you to sit and enjoy after working on your fabulous, green creations.

Enjoy a delicious bowl of ramen, a Japanese noodle soup which is a combination of a savoury, spicy broth, noodles and a selection of meat or veggies and topped with a jammy egg. 

Veggie ~ Veggie broth, rice noodles and fresh seasonal vegetables.

Chicken ~ Chicken broth, egg noodles and veggies with sliced chicken.

Extra garnish such as herbs, sliced green onion, fresh chilli, pickled red onion and crushed peanuts, plus Chilli oil available for those who like a little extra spice.
